Oreo Pudding Pops
Theyyyy’rreee herrreeee. Finally. Yum. These Oreo pudding pops are so good. Considering it’s been 80 degrees and humid all week these have been a great treat (and by treat I mean breakfast). Like the other pudding pops I’ve posted, these are very easy to make and if you use low fat or skim milk and lite Cool Whip they’re really not bad for you. It goes without saying that my kids also loved these – although, I must admit, I’m having a hard time sharing. Baby countdown is officially on – so if I go missing, you’ll know why.
Oreo Pudding Pops
Ingredients:
- Box of instant Oreo Jell-O Pudding Mix
- 2 cups cold low fat milk
- 1 cup lite Cool Whip, defrosted
- 12 oreos pulled apart (side with the cream filling will be inserted into the pops)
Directions:
- Using a handheld mixer or a whisk, mix together the pudding mix and milk until it's well combined.
- Whisk in the Cool Whip until it's incorporated.
- At this point, if you want extra cookie crunch, you can crush up some or all of the other "creamless" halves of the Oreos and fold them into the mix.
- Drop the 12 Oreo halves with the cream filling into the popsicle molds.
- Pour the pudding mix into the popsicle molds - tap the popsicle mold on the counter to get the air bubbles out and to get the pudding mix all the way around the Oreo.
- Freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
