Christmas Cookies – 2016
Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone, it can only mean one thing. Christmas is up next. And since it’s almost December, that means I am about ready to really start thinking about which new Christmas Cookies I’m going make this year.
Every year I have my standby Christmas Cookies that simply do NOT change. Ever. These cookies are always part of that lineup: Chewy Gingerbread Cookies, Raspberry Almond Thumbprints, Chocolate Dipped Shortbread, Chex Mix Clusters, Egg Biscuits and Magic Squares.
Each of these cookies is a favorite of someone in my family, which is why if one of them is ever left out I get that sad puppy dog look on Christmas Eve “You didn’t make my favorite cookie this year???” So, I’m a sucker, and every year for Christmas Eve I make at least these 6 Christmas Cookies plus a new addition that either makes the cut the following year or not. So, the big question is – what new Christmas Cookie will I make this year?? Any suggestions in the comments section would be much appreciated!
Here’s a full lineup of all the Christmas Cookies I’ve made in years past…
Easy Gingerbread Cutouts
Rolo Pretzel Bites
Santa Bark
Cake Pops
Buckeyes
Frosted Slice-and-Bake Cookies
